Mid-Term Assessment for eligible students at Black Belt Martial Arts Hornsby

Assessment & Testing at BBMA takes place twice during a normal term:

1. Progress Check
   Halfway through the term, if you have enough stripes (3 for Li’l Dragons and 7 for other students) you will undertake a progress check (Stripe Test). The purpose of the progress check is to make sure each student is progressing on schedule. After a successful progress check you will receive a silver stripe on your belt.

2. Belt Test/Pre-Test
   The second test is more formal, takes place before graduation (during a designated belt testing week) and assesses you for your next coloured belt.
