CBB/CDG Pre Test - for Sept 2024 Grading

The mandatory testing event for Candidates for Black Belt (CBB) and Candidates for Dan Grade (CDG) - Karate and Kickboxing.

Candidates who pass the Pre-Test are eligible to attend the September 2024 Black Belt Grading Camp.

All dates are mandatory

Pre-Induction Fitness Tests - 8am at Rofe Park Hornsby on Sunday April 28 and Sunday May 26 (please note, there is no Red Belt Run/Fitness Test in June).
Information Night - For students & parents of junior students - everything you’ll need to know - Friday May 3 at 6pm, and Friday June 28 at 7:30pm, at BBMA Hornsby Dojo
Black Belt Testing Application forms and entry Essays DUE - May 11
Level 3 Belt Test - Test for entry into Induction - 6pm to 7:30pm at BBMA Hornsby Dojo on Friday June 28. Sensei Josh will assess your current standard, and either confirm your attendance at the Induction Test on July 6, or recommend you wait for April 2025 cycle.

Induction Test at BBMA Gosford - Saturday afternoon July 6
12:30pm - All Kickboxers, and Karate Dan Grades
2:15pm - Karate CBBs
Black Belt Prep Cycle & Testing Fee - Payment due July 8 - If you pass your induction test please pay via the Online Store
Prep Cycle - July 15 until September 5.
Weekly Prep Cycle Classes at BBMA Gosford Dojo start on Saturday August 3.
Black Belt PRE-TEST at BBMA Gosford - Saturday August 31 .
You must pass this test in order to be invited to attend the formal Black Belt Grading.
Black Belt Grading at Point Wolstoncroft Recreation Centre - (away at Camp) from Friday Sept 6 to Sunday Sept 8.
