Graduation & Belt Presentation
So you passed your grading and are ready for your next belt? Warmest congratulations!
New belt promotions are awarded during Graduation week.
Graduation classes are celebratory occasions – an opportunity to demonstrate and exhibit your new skills to family and friends. Be ready to take lots of photos! This ceremony is important for students to feel a part of the community and to celebrate each other’s success. So please prioritise coming along to them to support their friends and training partners .
When does Graduation happen? Graduation events are scheduled for the last week of every term. We have 4 terms a year, and so 4 graduation each year. The final week of each term is called ‘Graduation Week’.
Our regular class program has finished for the year, and only graduations and special events are running.
Lil & Tiny Dragons
Lil & Tiny Dragons: Attend on your usual day at your usual time during Graduation Week.
A Graduation class will run in place of your regular class.
Lil Dragon Heroes
You will attend a special combined ‘End of Year’ LD Hero Graduation - on Saturday December 16 at 4pm.
This event is also our Lil Dragon Black Belt Grading - for all Lil Dragons attempting their upgrade to LD Black Belt.
Basic to L4, Karate & Kickboxing
Basic to L4 students: You can select from a few Graduation options. These will be communicated to you in the last few weeks of each term.
Book into one (1 x single) Graduation only.
Please note, the Graduation events for your program will NOT be running at the same time as your regular class at the Dojo. Please do not turn up at your normal class times during Graduation Week – no normal classes are running this week.
Bookings are essential. Attendance at Graduation (each term) is mandatory for all students. Graduation is the BBMA version of an awards or presentation night in other sports.
Book in for your Graduation via the Dojo Mobile App, or via our Clubworx site - select the ‘monthly’ view, scroll down to your selected event date, and click on the event using your student email to book your spot.
